This workshop is for people who have bought a telescope and would like some expert help on setting up and using their telescope successfully. The workshop is aimed at those people who have, for whatever reason, struggled to set up their telescope successfully and are not experiencing the true wonders of the Tasmanian night sky.
All popular types of telescopes and mounts are covered, including computer driven go-to systems. The workshop is hands- on with a range of telescopes on hand to demonstrate. A practical viewing session under the night sky follows the presentation, weather permitting.
Participants are encouraged to bring along their own telescope for direct practical assistance ready for the follow- on night sky viewing session.
